You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2004: Well, I Wasn't Expecting That.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2004? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

I'm not sure if I should be worried about my package to my giftee. I sent it priority mail last Monday. I have not seen a note that this person would be out of town. I hope all is well.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have been wondering the same thing about my gift, Lexine, since I mailed mine priority on Monday as well.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

And mine. It was supposed to be there by last Friday. Now I'm nervous.

Our wings are not tired.

I dropped mine today, but I forgot to include a note telling my santee how delighted I was that I was their seekrit santa. Remind me to do so later in the week when it is actually delivered.

edit to note I shipped part 2 today, part 1 was sent directly and should be rec'd momentarily

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm just a little, well, primitive, about the mail. Sometimes it feels like the stuff could end up in Pylea as easily as my house. Even though, in actual fact, I've only had a few items get lost. I think it just blows my mind to think about the planes and trucks and all the people's hands... I can be such a *simple* person.

Wheee!!!! I got a package today from my sekrit santa! It came from Texas and I only know a couple Buffistae from TX, so I think I know who it is. Thank you! I got a really funny T-shirt that has semophore flags on it and then under it says "Keep clear of me, I am maneuvering with difficulty." Heh, that I do when I'm sailing, I'm just a duffer. I can't wait to wear it the next time I go sailing with my dad. Again, thank you so much!

Warning: As is only appropriate for a Sooper Duper Slacker Secret Santa, my present for my giftee will not be bought until after Christmas, much less shipped. Though I will definitely try to get it out before New Year's.

Art Crawl!!!

Thank you thank you for my lovely gifts!

I don't know your board name -- but I loved everything. The card was gorgeous! Did you make the dragon?

The soap and the hand cream -- both useful and pretty.

You know candy is welcome even in the plainest of containers but a beautiful red Vietnamese box is the PERFECT container.

Thank you!

Did you make the dragon

No, it's a premade design by one of my favorite scrapbook supplies companies. But I had fun finding the right "Serenity" symbols to make a stencil with. I wanted a Firefly themed package for you since I see you in that thread more than others. I'm glad you liked it. And that box, it almost stayed home with me, hee. I saw it months ago and as soon as I knew who my giftee was, I knew exactly what to get.

Daniel C. Jensen just gave me a nice link to a songfile I've been craving, because iTunes is all snooty and won't talk to my Win98 system! He's a sweetie!
