Jilli, I am very very sorry. I did not know of squick and will never ever ever mention these bad things that are NOT TRUE ever ever again.

Never gonna happen. The DC F2F was Maria's (MFNLaw) first F2F, and I noticed her sitting off to the side a bit in the hospitality suite, and so I went over and introduced myself and started gushing about how gorgeous she is, and then started introducing her to everyone else, and she was immediately swept up in the socialness.
Tep is absolutely correct. The DC F2F was my first as well, and I met scads of people and spent time in all kinds of social groupings.
But The Horse and His Boy with a grownup Queen Susan being courted was alright, yes?
Yup. That's canon, and there wasn't much of any of Teh Sex in there, mostly just acknowledgement of her beauty and a lot of skeevy political machinations.
I'd also be willing to make an exception for a several-years-into-the-marriage fic about Shasta and Aravis, whose furiously quarrelsome loyalty I'd be happy to read more of, but it had better not be PWP. There are plenty of other already grown-up 'verses that are plenty amenable to PWP. Leave them alone, or I'll shake my fists and stamp my feet, I will! And my hands and feet are NOT AT ALL WEE. What I shake at or stomp on stays good and shaken or stomped.
It's as I always suspected; JZ and I are long-lost sisters.
::borrows Jilli's favorite hat without telling her, gets an ice-cream stain on the brim and tries to cover it up with a Sharpie; blames as-yet unspecified youngest sibling for whole debacle::

Chocolate is good. I approve of chocolate.
JZ, this is where I give you That Look, and then not tell you that I can remove the stain with Dryel, but instead bring it up for years and years and years to make you feel guilty.
Snuggles Aimee, Jilli, and JZ (hey, they are the ones holding the goods at the moment)
Boy, so that F2F? Gonna be a blast! WHOO HOO!
Do you think the rain will hurt the rutabegas?

I've long thought I would love to explore Sara Crewe's life as an adult, including her falling in love, but I always imagined it as a story *for* children, because there's no way I could write her as *sexual* being.
The courting of Queen Susan always bothered me when I thought about how she reverted to being a little girl here in our world. So I preferred to think 'twas all well-chaperoned and that she returned to her childhood blissfully consequence-free.
