It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Bev, I think the cover for Prom is going to depend on how we handle the bar, right?

The full hotel expense - food, drink, and hospitality suite - will come out to $2500 total, plus appropriate appliable tax. The ballroom thing is comped if we meet $1500 total food and beverages at prom, which isn't likely to be an issue with, rough guess, between 55 and 65 people showing up. The other $1000 is the use of the two-bedroom hospitality suite, from Thursday afternoon through Monday noon.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Ah. Okay, thanks.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'll even make 'em stock something uber-dry and bubbly for me,

Can you make them stock enough for me too? Please?

Our wings are not tired

So if we take the $2500 and assume around 60 people that ends up meaning that we need to average around $42 a person.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

we need to average around $42 a person.

Excellent number!

Juliana, we're going to PayPal you... upthread you mentioned creating another account... ?

ND, yep. But that comes down if we're doing an open bar, right? By $500?

The other $250 was the extra night of the hospitality suite - there seemed to be a consensus of sorts, for keeping it until Monday, rather than Sunday.

Also, will need to know about a post B2B BBQ at Chez Grabien.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! But, you already knew that. Plus, more cooking! I could make mini chocolate cheesecakes!

Excellent! Then I could concentrate on sides, and not have to worry about dessert for the BBQ.

We have time yet - I can get a slightly more accurate headcount as time goes by (yeah, cue Hoagie Carmichael, or whoever played it in Casablanca...)

I can make something else too. I've been meaning to create mini apple tortes. perhaps I will try to do that this weekend. Localistas may be called upon to eat the samples.

It's still part of the average of $42 per person that we need to do. Whether it's a fee or the drinkers pay it by purchasing drinks it's still part of the $2500. If we do an open bar, then we're paying the money upfront.

The other $250 was the extra night of the hospitality suite - there seemed to be a consensus of sorts, for keeping it until Monday, rather than Sunday.

I'm paying the extra $250 for the hospitality suite, I've just not had a chance to send the money along.
