Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

The status is NOT quo.

And the SD zoo! And the Wild Animal Park! And the Long Beach Aquarium!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

If you come to LA, Kristin and I will take you to Disneyland.

Last I was in LA, I was two blocks from Disneyland, and still didn't check it out. I was so proud.

And the SD zoo! And the Wild Animal Park! And the Long Beach Aquarium!

Hee. Full marks for enthusiasm.

ETA: LA's a given. Because of the Wild Animal Park, and because of you guys. And because that's where the planes land, which makes it easy.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Shit. Must look into flights.

Not graduation, then? Well, you still get an invitation.

I suck. I know this. (But I got the QaF S1 DVDs from the library today! Zoltan!)

Billytea, if you come to Cincinnati, there's always the possibility of getting Cashmere to come down, or the Ohio-istas could all meet in Columbus so that Deena and clan could come down.

I won't even bother pimping the Zoo; you've seen it. You know.

I won't even make you eat Skyline! Unless you want to.

See, this is what I mean by the pimpage.

I do, I know many things. Such as that there's another of those wine evening thingies, this time featuring Australian animals, on August 10. Not that this has any relevance, of course. Just making conversation.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Can you e me with the reservation number, Jess?

Deb, insent. I suspect this is an issue which has been solved at the local level, but hasn't percolated up to the 1-800 # yet for whatever reason.

YAY Jess! I'm so glad you can come!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Yep - awhile back, I posted the suggestion to just book at the hotel's direct number. They have the Buffista code in place.

But no prob, I'll ping Eva and make damned sure it's fixed.

I have made both desserts for Saturday, and the lamb-honey-mint-ras el hanout-pignoli filling for one main dish is simmering. Next up: the salmon, a sort of modified coubiliac. That goes in another roll.

Why, that would be a lovely event to take an out-of-town guest to, don't you think? If ONLY someone would visit....

(But -- surely you have ready access to all the Australian animals you want? There are fairy penguins flinging themselves off rocks in your front yard, right? Or so I've been led to believe....)

Well, naturally. They seem happy, if a bit groggy.

Jess, nothing from you. Did you send to yahoo?
