I suspect this is an issue which has been solved at the local level, but hasn't percolated up to the 1-800 # yet for whatever reason.

Yep - awhile back, I posted the suggestion to just book at the hotel's direct number. They have the Buffista code in place.

But no prob, I'll ping Eva and make damned sure it's fixed.

I have made both desserts for Saturday, and the lamb-honey-mint-ras el hanout-pignoli filling for one main dish is simmering. Next up: the salmon, a sort of modified coubiliac. That goes in another roll.

Such as that there's another of those wine evening thingies, this time featuring Australian animals, on August 10. Not that this has any relevance, of course. Just making conversation.

Why, that would be a lovely event to take an out-of-town guest to, don't you think? If ONLY someone would visit....

(But -- surely you have ready access to all the Australian animals you want? There are fairy penguins flinging themselves off rocks in your front yard, right? Or so I've been led to believe....)

I'm a smoker, with an N/S room (never occurred to me there'd be an option in Cali) so there might be some wiggle room.
