Just heard from Le Cirque. My original contact for New Orleans Fine Hotels is out on maternity leave and her temporary replacement doen't have all teh information from me. SIgh. Is it worthwhile to start over with them? I"m not sure whether I would need to find other contacts for the Holiday Inn Express and the Cotton Exchange as well, or if the new contact would cover all three.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
Hec or JZ, after tomorrow morning, I won't have reliable access to a computer. Could one of you email me your address before then so I can figure out how to get there from my hotel?
Thanks!
Lee, done!
It's looking like most of our questions apply to the St. Louis at this point and they are a strong leader. I'd like to get all of those questions answered and then see if that's the hotel we're doing so that we can get this all settled soon.
Timelies! I've been semi-lurking for a while - things got crazy at work and I was out for a while - but I'm back.
May I ask to be included in the ND DC events? And, I don't know if you'd be interested, but I went to this last week and it's interesting. It's accessible by public transit, although it takes some time, and it's free.
About NO--I know a lot of stuff hasn't been decided, but how are people getting from the airport to the hotel? Do we have locals there?
New Orleans has pretty reasonably priced airport shuttles in the event there's no local ride.
There's me.
Even cabs aren't that expensive to the Quarter, especially if you split.
Okay. Was just wondering, particularly about booking flights, whether it would be easier to try and get there when other people do or if I'd be okay getting to the hotel on my own.
