Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins. Twenty years old. Born on the fourth of July — and don't think there weren't jokes about that my whole life, mister, 'cause there were. 'Who's our little patriot?' they'd say, when I was younger and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Shouldn't that be reversed?

Depends. How do you feel about accountants? Also, do you run Mac OS?

If I only had a brain...

Unless the rock is farting diamonds, there's nothing to calculate.

You know, I'd buy that rock for the comedy value alone.

My mac is more fun than an accountant, my linux box weirder, and my windoze box crankier. All three with personality, hence my realization that I'd read the punchline reversed in my head, and the deleting.

(Curse you and your quick ctrl-c! Curse you!!!!)

Glances up at Accounting Degree hanging on office wall. Reminds self that said degree never was used. Resumes personality having behavior.

If I only had a brain...

Glances up at wall

Notices that is not such a dork as to hang diploma on wall

Makes a mental note to hang something on the wall, maybe next year
