The only reason I can see for wanting to keep the Prom at the hotel is to facilitate costume changes.
That said, it's not important to me. The rehearsal space idea is intriguing.

Ah. Ok. I don't think it needs to be on-site, is the consesus. But easily accessable. As far as by taxi/limo only, I think that needs a decision from the group.

However, even if we are able to save money on Prom, I want an ok from the group as a whole before we up the limit on room price. (It'll be nice once we have the date vote, so we can have so idea on what a quorum of potential attendees is)

Debet, I'm with you: a consensus is a good thing, and a quorum, and all the good stuff. (Not being snarky - I'm just using a kind of shorthand.) Also, totally in agreement that Prom should be easily reachable from the hotel.
BTW, what Aimee asked - I could use that breakdown as well, just for comparison costs.

When did the group select the official price limit on the rooms? (I'm happier with less expensive, so this isn't a complaint; it's just my crappy memory.)
