Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

With seats to fit everyone's fine asses, and more legroom for the taller amongst us (tommyrot, Gus, Kalshane...).
I'm definitely interested, especially if it'll be in either SF or Seattle! I can tack on a week visiting a college friend in the SF area, or my sister in Seattle, so I'm flexible there!
Maybe the LAistas can rent a big ole RV and drive to wherever.
I'm definitely not averse to something central and either equally easy or equally hard for the largest number of people -- Kansas City last year sounded so good it's going to take a vast amont of convincing to get me to pick anything else the next time it's nominated.
Yowtch! If the fares I just got for San Francisco and Seattle with July dates are standard, I'll either be driving through the Rockies or not attending at all. Those are like 3x the prices I've ever paid to LA.
Fly to LA and drive up with the LAista RV!
Just for a rough idea, May 19-22, hotel and flight, sorted by 'lowest' on Orbitz:
Cincinnati - San Francisco 461
Cincinnati - Phoenix 387
Cincinnati - Seattle 388
Dallas - San Francisco 438
Dallas - Phoenix 413
Dallas - Seattle 373
These all tend to be 'outlying' locations, naturally.
As far as something more central... well, that was this year's goal and the vote went to New Orleans. It's too late for "I told you so"s. And now its the West Coast's turn.
Whereas NOLA was less expensive for me than the trips I've taken to Oakland or Burbank.
I repeat, weird!
Not disagreeing.
I also think it has a lot to do with when you buy ticket, too. There is no rhyme or reason.
I think June would be more convenient for me than April or May.
All of the possible host cities have advantages for me.
