I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Our wings are not tired

Thanks Tom!

And for the NYC folks, I'm in town all week. Teaching a class on Monday/Tuesday and also on Thursday/Friday. I've got Wednesday off. I should also have my evenings free as the classes are done by 5 each day. I'd love to see folks.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

ND, glad to know you got the Jag safely down the PCH; I was mildly worried about that.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

And for the NYC folks, I'm in town all week.

Tip your waitress. Try the veal.

Sorry. Slinking away now.

Deb, sorry we didn't call. It's been a bit of a crazy weekend and I'm now back on a plane and really stressed since a number of big checks I'm waiting on are now late and I'm out of town for another week. I'll make good money on this trip, but until I'm paid it's a lot of out of pocket expenses that I just don't have any cash for.

The Jag was a massive amount of fun and there are good pictures from the trip but I've not had a chance to upload them yet.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I can play any night but Monday before 10:00, ND.

Hope you packed kilts, baby!

That is to say, any night but only after 10:00 on Monday.

ND, dude, so long as you made it down without grief. I love the ride but the road scares. Personal history issues.

Sorry, no Kilts this trip. I need to do laundry and this has been a very fast pack and turn around and fly out trip. I'm just happy I have some clean clothing at all to wear.

Gah, I am not looking forward to checking into my hotel around 1 AM. This is going to suck.

If I only had a brain...

It so does, ND. Make absolutely damn sure you have "hold for late arrival" on the reservation. I've had nasty surprises even when I had that.

I've always found that, if you reserved the room with an American Express card, there's no time limit placed on it for arrival.

Which came in handy when we showed up at the Valadon in LA and checked in at half past seven the next morning, having driven all night with food poisoning....
