Our wings are not tired

I had late check-in.

As in, I just checked in.

I'm going to bed now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is anyone else who's going to the NO F2F considering seeing SW:E3-RotS? Perhaps not the best use of F2F time, but OTOH it would be fun to see that flick with Buffistas.

So I guess what I'm saying is that I'll go if others are going....

It opens on Friday the 20th.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm trying to think what the closest theater would be. I'm pretty sure it won't be playing at Canal Place, so you're probably looking at the Palace at Clearview...

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

SW:E3-RotS

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Star Wars Episode Three Revenge Of The Sith.

Thank you. All those letters were making my head hurty.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It'd be a trek out to Harahan or New Orleans East, or possibly across the river. It'll probably show at all three, and I honestly don't know which would be closer. I'd go to Harahan (the Elmwood Palace) because that's easiest to get to from my house.

Oh! It might play the Prytania, which is right in the city and even not far from the streetcar line. The first one did (sigh. I waited in line to see the first showing there), and it's kind of nice because there's just the one screen, but the sound isn't great.

I'd probably go if people were going.

God, the theater on Prytania is still open?

You don't think it'd be at the Clearview Palace? (I don't even know why I'm questioning, since the movie listings will actually appear at some point.)

Yes, it is. And, hey, look at that, it will be showing Revenge of the Sith...at least, I think that's what this means. [link]

Clearview is handier to get to from I-10, but Elmwood is quicker from Jefferson Hwy. I cross Jefferson Hwy (well, Claiborne, but same street) to get to I-10, so I usually go to Elmwood. Clearview is the newer and nicer complex, though. I only left it off because I think of it as an annex of Elmwood.

That's awesome. It's such a strange little place.
