Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

heh. I can totally see this.

They were sort of huddled in the kitchen, trying to stay out of the way of the mad morning rush of getting Emmett out the door. They were muzzy and cute with their sticky-up hair, but their body language expressed pure gratitude on receiving the hot coffee.

Has anyone ever used Priceline's name your own air fare thing?

I've done Priceline for a hotel on my Chicago trip and it worked very well.

Thrive to spite them

I think I'm going to try priceline, if the prices keep going up it's going to be more affordable to take an extra day off work and drive.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've used it a bunch of times without a problem.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay! I just got final confirmation that I actually do have enough vacation time to take my Denver/Chicago/Ohio trip.

Who wants to come play?

Thrive to spite them

One question about Priceline -- how cheap can you go on naming your own price. I'm not going to be stupid about it, but I would like to get a ticket as cheap as I can.

If your bid is too cheap, they'll let you know. I would definitely lowball the first bid, then move it to something more reasonable if it squawks.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My hopes for a quick trip to MI this weekend have been dashed, but yay for Lee coming to Chicago to play.
