All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My hopes for a quick trip to MI this weekend have been dashed, but yay for Lee coming to Chicago to play.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Thessaly may possibly have the very cutest sticky-uppy morning hair in the universe.

Heh. I'm inclined to agree.

They were muzzy and cute with their sticky-up hair, but their body language expressed pure gratitude on receiving the hot coffee.

Coffee makes the world go round. When people give us coffe, we are happy and thankful. (:

Seriously, Hec and JZ are wonderful hosts. Everyone's been so cool this trip.

Also, we met Sean K. last night!

I'm sorry to announce I don't think I'm going to make the visit to Michigan this time. I've come down with a rotten case of cold/flu and I don't think it's going to be any better tomorrow. I'm sorry to disappoint, but it's just too long a drive when feeling like this and I don't want to expose any other people to my germs, especially little Princess Emeline. My sincere regrets and apologies for those who may have made special plans for the weekend. I hope you can still do them!

I'm dosing with Theraflu right now. Unfortunately, while it relieves symptoms, it doesn't make the cold GO AWAY! Dang it. However, on the good side, since I already took tomorrow off, I don't have to go to work and I can slounge around in a robe watching my Wonderfalls DVDs.

Oh, Sail, I'm sorry. I know you were looking forward to it. I prescribe: Vitamin C, zinc, steam, hot toddies and Wonderfalls.

Well, I've got Halls' defense drops that have vitamin C, echinacea and zinc, got the Wonderfalls, all I need is hot toddie but I don't have a clue how to make one. I did just drink some hot Theraflu with honey, is that a reasonable substitute?

Whiskey, lemon, honey or sugar and hot water.

Oh! What my mother used to make for me. Unfortunately, I have no whiskey. I have rum, I suppose it would do in a pinch. I will save it for later as the Theraflu recommends no alcohol while dosing oneself.
