Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

TiVo subscribers can try it free on or around 1/15/05.

Whee!

I've been using home networking for forever. My collection of pretty pictures looks so much better on the big screen, not to mention I don't have a stereo in the living room, and can set my TiVo from work.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

do you need an ethernet card for the Tivo? Why?

So that you can connect it to a network. The TiVo doesn't come with network hardware, just a modem for calling headquarters.

'Cept you'll still have to buy the Ethernet card for your TiVo. I keep forgettin'.

Is yours a Series 3?

NoiseDesign - Jan 06, 2005 9:46:01 am PST #989 of 10003
Our wings are not tired

My series2 has a USB port, not an ethernet port. I could either add the USB WiFi adapater or a USB to Ethernet adapter.
