I've been using home networking for forever. My collection of pretty pictures looks so much better on the big screen, not to mention I don't have a stereo in the living room, and can set my TiVo from work.

So that you can connect it to a network. The TiVo doesn't come with network hardware, just a modem for calling headquarters.

Really? Mine came with an ethernet port. All I had to buy was the wireless network adapter thingy.
Is yours a Series 3?
My series2 has a USB port, not an ethernet port. I could either add the USB WiFi adapater or a USB to Ethernet adapter.
Pretty sure it's a Series 2.
