Well, the problem is, I used to have it synching, but then I went and copied some songs from other peoples' computers onto the iPod. And it told me if I went back to synching it would clear everything off the iPod, and I wouldn't have those songs anymore. And I thought if I just did playlist synching it would work, but NOOOOO. All the songs I just got from my BIL and hadn't yet listened to? GONE. Fuckers.

So I'm trying to rip some cds I just got, and for some reason my ripping software can't access any of the online databases. I tried dbPowerAmp and iTunes, which use different databases, and neither of them work. I checked my firewall, and my internet connection is definitely working.

I'm at a loss. I really don't want to type in all the information about each song on these albums. What do I do?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I checked my firewall, and my internet connection is definitely working.

When you say you checked your firewall, did you make sure that those programs were in the allow (or exception) list?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Why doesn't my sassy new printer come with a USB cable? Why was I too dense to check the bloody box when I was still in the store? Now I canna play until tommorrow. Seriously, it comes with ink and freaking paper samples, but not a nessecary componant? Greedy HP!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Apparently that's typical for printers. No USB cables.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Huh. I never woulda thunk it. It's included in the contents list in the instructions, but if you look in little print on the box, it says not included.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's included in the contents list in the instructions, but if you look in little print on the box, it says not included.

Well you obviously got Schrodinger's USB cable.

My browser font got suddenly small and I don't know why. Now some pull down menus are too small to read and it makes me sad.
