So I'm trying to rip some cds I just got, and for some reason my ripping software can't access any of the online databases. I tried dbPowerAmp and iTunes, which use different databases, and neither of them work. I checked my firewall, and my internet connection is definitely working.
I'm at a loss. I really don't want to type in all the information about each song on these albums. What do I do?

When you say you checked your firewall, did you make sure that those programs were in the allow (or exception) list?
Why doesn't my sassy new printer come with a USB cable? Why was I too dense to check the bloody box when I was still in the store? Now I canna play until tommorrow. Seriously, it comes with ink and freaking paper samples, but not a nessecary componant? Greedy HP!

Well you obviously got Schrodinger's USB cable.
My browser font got suddenly small and I don't know why. Now some pull down menus are too small to read and it makes me sad.

Hmm. I tried plugging one in but it didn't work. It's no big, I worked my way around it. Just odd.
