This is what happens when you don't choose your residence well! Thanks for thinking of me, though. You know, I have a vague memory that the CRT I replaced with my current monitor may have been a Samsung as well, and that thing never gave me a day of trouble. Have to keep that in mind.
I have two Samsung 15" LCD's that have been rock solid. I've also got a 15" Viewsonic that has been great. These are on three of my theatre rental machines, so they get abused quite a bit too.
One of the Samsungs is at least 3 years old now.
Katie, I just took a look at their website and they're offering a $120.00 mail in rebate on a 17"; regular price $399. The rebate takes 4-6 weeks. Free shipping. I don't know if that's reasonably priced to you or not.
I suspect it is, all things considered, though I haven't done any comparative pricing yet. Thanks.
