See if the install disk boots.
It also could be a failing Power supply or loose power cable on the hard drive.
Thanks for these suggestions, Daniel. I'll give them a try when I return.
ND, when I get back, if none of the other fixes work, do you still have an extra power supply we can try throwing in here to see if that's the problem?
Has anyone seen/used a bluetooth headset with Caller ID? Now, if they could also have one that tells you if you have voicemail waiting, I'd be golden.
As is -- I'm wondering -- does it work with all phones? What other info might the phone be sending to the headset that's going unused?

I guess you're supposed to look at the display before you put the headset on your ear, but it still seems little less useful than intended to me, 'cuz how do you look at your own ear?
I guess since I don't use an earpiece at all, I'm just far enough behind on the cell phone curve that I'm not earpiece savvy.
I don't keep the headset in my ear when I'm not on a call, unless I just haven't gotten around to putting it away yet. I do know people who wear them around their necks, so very useful for them. Me, I use them to make calls and not answer them -- I reach for the phone when it rings, so I can tell who it is. If the headpiece told me, I might reach for that instead. I do prefer taking the calls that way, after all.
Yeah, I figured it was more that I'm a cell phone Luddite.

"Where do you put the quarter in this thing?!?"
Oh, the quarters get sent directly to me. Isn't that in the user manual?

Should I just send you, like, a twenty, to cover a whole bunch of calls? Is it extra for long distance?

You'd better send me a $100, just in case. Small unmarked bills, please.
