Thanks.
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

does anyone know of good sites for audiobooks compatible with iPods? Sounds like a fun way to spend driving time.
iTunes has a bunch of books and longer radio programs (I downloaded a bunch of THis American Life for long car trips).
I'm sorry, Betsy! They're teasing you!
I shoulda brought you the first set of S2. I feel bad I didn't.
Tiger confirmed for April 15: [link]
FYI...dealnews.com has some info about some price reductions on Ipod shuffles. I can't remember if someone was looking for one here, but just in case.
So, now that I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on my powerbook purchase -- I should wait until after the 15th?
At some point, Apple should make an announcement that new systems purchased after a certain date will be able to upgrade to Tiger for free.

Unless you really want it now. A few times they have offered the newer software at a reduced price to people who bought new computers in the last 2 months, say, but don't fall in the shorter window. If you are in no rush, I'd wait for Tom's announcement.
TiVo's not going out of business yet: [link]
I wish it wasn't Comcast, but better that than no TiVo.
