A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Hey, all btfnet.net is not working for me -- hasn't since last night.

I am home with a monster cold, and am desperate for some entertainment -- anyone have alternate suggestions? I've been looking at alternate torrent sites, but (Surprise!) many are inop.

I thank you, my nose thanks you, and Elvis, quite possibly, thanks you. Very much.

If I only had a brain...

Please instruct the neophyte. I have a kid who wants an Ipod Mini for his birthday. Am I right in thinking that we can rip the CDs we already own into the Mini, and that we have to buy from Itunes only if we don't own the music?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Just stating the obvious to be safe: You rip your CDs onto your computer via iTunes, and then copy them from your computer to the iPod. But you don't need to buy any music from iTunes.

Oooh, iPod. Silver?

I recommend getting a jacket to go with it, Betsy. My Mini got pretty scratched up in the first month I had it, just from carrying it around in my bag.

Oh (witness my seamless transition!), and does anyone know of good sites for audiobooks compatible with iPods? Sounds like a fun way to spend driving time.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I recommend getting a jacket to go with it, Betsy.

See, at first, I thought you meant, like, a matching clothing accessory.

If I only had a brain...

So did I. You used to be able to get a black leather jacket to go with your Pilot. Sniff.

Suela, Farscape S2 didn't come! Again! I am so bereft!

My site came back up this afternoon, so all is good with my world.

Thanks.

Trust my rage

does anyone know of good sites for audiobooks compatible with iPods? Sounds like a fun way to spend driving time.

iTunes has a bunch of books and longer radio programs (I downloaded a bunch of THis American Life for long car trips).
