Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Gmail looks like it may be going wide very soon. I was on the waiting list for a gmail account since May and I finally got an invitation to join the service.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

le n, dude, you should've said something -- I'd've given you, like, 60 invites any time you asked!

Really. Please? Take some. I have plenty. I'm drowning in them. They keep giving me more. Anyone? Bueller?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm going to get a wireless DSL router today -- does anyone have any strong recommendations or strong warnings? (New iBook G4, Airport Extreme card.)

The one I'm looking at is the Belkin wireless-G broadband router. Opinions?

Ah, gotcha. I'm glad to hear it -- I hated to think that you were waiting and waiting and waiting while other people were desperate to offload the things.

Our wings are not tired

I did it. I bought a 42" Plasma TV. It's been delivered and is setup.

I think I'm in love.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

We all hate you now.

Well, I don't have a Mac Mini to hook up to it.

Yet.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Hating ND even more.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We all hate you now.

Tsk tsk, Tom. I think sour grapes is a much more adult way of handling this situation.

"I've heard that Plasma TVs suck, and that LCD is so much better."

See? Of course, the above statement might not be true. Better try something else:

"Plasma TVs cause cancer."

OK, that can work. Or better still:

"Plasma TVs cause impotence."
