Anyone want a 12 year old 27" Toshiba TV?

I'm thinking about a 26" LCD TV for my bedroom. But I doubt I'll be able to get that until later this summer. Unless some more really good contracts come through.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Nah, I'm on a holy crusade to rid myself of all CRTs. So far, I've conquered the study, but convincing the BF to give up having a TV until we can afford a plasma isn't really getting very far.

(You could keep your old TV and send us the new one. That would solve both our problems.)

(After all, they cause cancer impotence something nasty that you wouldn't want but I'm willing to risk. For the team.)

Yeah, I'm trying to do the great CRT purge as well. Getting the Plasma was one step along that route. My big desktop machine still has two CRT's though, a 20" and a 17". I want to replace them with at least dual 20" Apple Cinema Displays, but would really like to do it with dual 23" ones, so I don't think it will be happening soon.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I want to get a 30" LCD TV, but that might have to wait as I gotta pay for the F2F and I won't know how much of a fine I'll have to pay until my March court date.

A 27" CRT TV must weigh a ton. What do you suppose the shipping would be to sent it to Chicago?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

ND could obviously save himself a whole lot of money in postage by sending you the plasma.

Paul is unwilling to rid himself of our CRT, as anything we could in theory afford that isn't a CRT simply isn't up to his standards.

This, it turns out, is the downside to living with someone in the profession.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Which he could then put towards a prescription for Viagra. Everybody wins!

I'm that way with my Studio stuff. Very picky about gear. In my living room, NSM. I'd rather spend my money on my studio.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hey, Steph, I have that Belkin. I can't offer anything other than my own experience, but it's worked flawlessly for me (albeit on a PC setup instead).

I've got a Linksys and a D-Link, and an Airport that all work great with both my Macs and PC's.
