You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Our wings are not tired

I use iNoah on my Treo. I think you need to have a wireless connection for it to work though.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The new Mac powerbooks have something called "two-finger scrolling" that allows you to scroll a screen up/down or left/right by dragging two fingers across the trackpad. There is a program that allows older powerbooks and ibooks to do this too: [link]

You need OS X 10.3. There is a script at the above site that will tell you if two-fingered scrolling can be activated on your laptop.

eta: my G3 iBook (purchased Aug '03) is apparantly too old to do this:

Your trackpad does not seem to support W-enhanced mode.
W-enhanced mode is necessary for two-finger scrolling to work.

Perhaps when Apple upgraded the iBook to G4 (late '03) is when this "W-enhanced mode" was added.

Thanks for the link, Tommyrot! I just enabled 2-finger scrolling on my iBook. It's pretty cool.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Gmail has enabled Popmail support. [link]

All is well that ends in pizza.

Apparently it's only news to me, I'm told.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Gmail looks like it may be going wide very soon. I was on the waiting list for a gmail account since May and I finally got an invitation to join the service.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

le n, dude, you should've said something -- I'd've given you, like, 60 invites any time you asked!

Really. Please? Take some. I have plenty. I'm drowning in them. They keep giving me more. Anyone? Bueller?

I'm going to get a wireless DSL router today -- does anyone have any strong recommendations or strong warnings? (New iBook G4, Airport Extreme card.)

The one I'm looking at is the Belkin wireless-G broadband router. Opinions?
