Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

What is even happening?

It's fine here, Laga. You could also mention it in the Buffy/Angel thread, because it's not spoiling plot or guest appearances.

And HA! Greenwalt! The first thing I said about that show Moonlight was when I told Strega I liked that show when it was called Angel. And then of course Strega, being roughly equivalent to the Files & Records character reminded me the same thing could have been (and was) said about Angel in reference to Forever Night.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Hey, Tom!

The news that Greenwalt is involved is the first thing that has made me even vaguely interested in that vampire PI show, I must say.

Art Crawl!!!

I read over on TWOP that Frank Capra is going to do an episode of The Closer.

But I have no idea which one.

Art Crawl!!!

And I just read a casting rumor that Bradley Cooper is going to be on the new season of Nip/Tuck. Didn't hear whether it was a one-shot, recurring or what.

Art Crawl!!!

Hey, the guy who plays "Sam" the cute homeless guy on the Starter Wife is going to play "Bill" in the TV version of True Blood.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

One of my friends works on Torchwood, and says the Who end rumour is crap. Who and Torchwood are very unusual in UK TV terms, in that they're sharing staff, they're long, long UK series and they're quite complex (CGI, location shoots etc). A usual UK series is about 6 episodes in total, with a budget about a tenth of an average US first season show, with little in the way of complexity (see also: budget). And they normally run for one or two series max. So you can understand why producers might be finding the work on Who & Torchwood drowning, especially considering the budget for an entire series of Who is roughly that of one episode of Firefly.

Art Crawl!!!

Ooh, I just read a Heroes casting rumor over at TWOP - whitefonting for the very, very timid because I have no idea how true this is: David Anders.

That's it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I heard the same thing.

That'd be super cool.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

While I like him, when he was on Grey's Anatomy as a guest person, I was irked that he wasn't more sark like, i.e., accented in a cutely hot way.

So if he shows up on Heroes, please let it be with an evil british accent.
