why would the BBC spoil something like that?
There pretty much isn't any concept of a 'spoiler' in tv over here. If anything exciting is going to happen they want everyone to know so they can get the maximum number of viewers.

that sucks, Jars. it hit me hard when i realized CE wasn't going to be the doctor anymore, but i didn't know it until i watched The Parting of the Ways. if i'd known he was only going to last a season i probably wouldn't have even started watching. i don't know.

nah. you're not being overly sensitive. i was pretty upset when two people on my flist posted about it without warning of spoilers. that's why i was being vague and just left a link to the article.
i'm sure people who want to know will find out. no worries.
