From Ask Ausiello:
GA casting rumor: Chris O'Donnell for a 6 episode arc.
Alias casting rumor: Michael Vartan for an 8 episode arc -- starting w/ep 99 or the second episode after they get back -- whenever that will be.
And this about the Lost casting rumor above:
Ausiello: How 'bout we ask exec producer Damon Lindelof. "It's all huff and puff and speculation," he tells me. "Not a word of it is true." He goes on to say that if he were going to whack Ana Lucia — and that's a big "were" — it wouldn't be because of Rodriguez's behavior. "Lost's story is the star, and no actor would ever be killed off for any other reason than supporting the story." Interpret as you like.
Also on Alias from Sci Fi Wire: Will Tippen will be back as will Anna Espinosa.
Now if only the show were on the schedule.
I know! I'm just glad that it's not coming back to Thursdays -- that is much too busy for me right now.
Wow, DL from Lost didn't really defend Girlfight girl overly much, now did he?
Eva Myles who played a character called "Gwyneth" in " The Unquiet Dead " in Doctor Who 2005 has been cast as a character named " Gwen " in Torchwood -- I can't tell if the character is the same one.
Of course, my question may only apply if the episode, " The Unquiet Dead " is the second episode set in Wales from last year's Doctor. It seems unlikely that a character from the 19th Century episode would be in "Torchwood" - - although -- was it established that the woman that the Mayor didn't kill was a descendent of one of the characters from the earlier episode ?
Upcoming episode titles for Veronica Mars:
March 15 - "Versatile Toppings"
March 22 - "The Quick and the Wed"
March 29 - "The Rapes of Graff"
April 5 - "Plan B"
April 12 - "I am God"
April 19 - "Nevermind the Buttocks"
The episode on April 19th is the 19th episode. I assume that there will be 3 more, right?
Alias:
5-10 (no date) "S.O.S."
5-11 (no date) "Maternal Instinct"
5-12 9 Mar 06 "There's Only One Sydney Bristow"
5-13 16 Mar 06 30 Seconds
The 3rd episode listed is their 100th. I'm not sure where the dates on the 4th and 5th episode come from if ABC doesn't have them on their schedule.
I was looking at epguides trying to figure out what's going on with the Lost/Alias/Invasion scheduling and only became more confused. First of all, knowing that Alias is coming back with a two-hour show on April 19th, I assumed that the show that would be following it would be Lost.
Well, actually, Invasion has an episode scheduled on the 19th. And Alias has two episodes -- which I knew, but strangely, Lost also has an episode scheduled on the 19th. Even more confusing the Lost episode is called " SOS " and guess what? The second episode of Alias is also called "SOS". . . so mistake? Or an exciting (or frightening) Alias/Lost x-over ?
