Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
I'm pretty sure him being cast is not a spoiler for lite. We don't cover movies that way. Plot details for movie casting vary in what details are discussed, but there's plenty of it casting talk period. It will be on the posters.

See, I scanned back through to see if movies came up, but it was unclear. So, it should have gone just in movies itself and not here? Should I delete it here?
eta: Oh, no, I see it did come up in Movies, I just missed it. I was still hung up on the Katniss archery photo at that point.
