Chuck casting: Justin Hartley and Jeff Fahey.
Spoilage Lite - The Return
[NAFDA] The place for casting and other vague spoilers, for those who merely want to wade, not drown, in the spoiler sea. Episode titles, writers, and preview speculation in black font. Exiting cast, TV Guide and other entertainment articles and their discussion white-fonted. Hard core spoilers are not allowed.
What's Chuck's track record with shirtlessness?
You know, I don't recall much shirtlessness.
That had better change in time for Justin.
GoT: Ben Crompton as Dolorous Edd. This was GRRM's clue:
From England, England hails this fellow, an ideal choice.
He's been a madman, a nut, a spud, a martian, a king, and a slaver, he's gone up with a balloon and down with a ship. But why he is so sad when he's stroked so many women?
And here is a clue for another actor and part:
Thrice nominated, once victorious. A double threat. He wrote the script for his own wedding. Has struggled against the Spider's sort, taken on Santa, caught a tiger by his tail. Never reads the same book twice. Last seen dancing home.
Hmmmm. . .
And folks over at GRRM's lj and on WIC got it - as GRRM confirmed:
You've solved another one.
It's the distinguished Irish actor MICHAEL MCELHATTON. He will indeed be playing pale-eyed Roose Bolton, Lord of the Dreadfort.
Ooh, the TVD article says that Jack Coleman will also be on TVD.
(He's playing a character named "Bill" so they are changing the name of the Sebastian Roche character from "Eric." I think they should leave it!)
From the Sebastian Roche article:
Roche has already made a splash on set. “He showed up for a costume fitting, and I got an email from the costume designer that all of the women in the costume fitting were flushed and atwitter because he’s a very charming, handsome man,” reports Plec, who’s a fan from his General Hospital days. “He’s a classically-trained theater actor, he is mysterious, he has an element of danger to him,” she adds. “We liked the idea of bringing an adult into our world that wasn’t one of our founding families. He’s just got a quality that is really exciting.”

Sebastian Roche cast on Vampire Diaries.
Let the bombast commence. And I mean that with total affection for both the show and how he plays characters. It's likely to be good casting.
