new boss in "Castle":
Penny Johnson Jerald
damn sumi!
Took me a while to work out who MacPalmer was, but I do know that name better than her real one.
Kal Penn will be joining the cast of...
"How I Met Your Mother"
Interesting.
Game of Thrones is now casting for babies.
W-I-C posted a new casting glue from GRRM's lj:
His fate is one that Derek Jacobi has tasted twice.
He knew Indiana Jones, has hung with droids and jedi, thrice contended for a Larry, winning once. He’s been a knight (often), an archbishop (twice), a dean, a priest, a doctor.
The first part is about the actor - the second about the part.
People are guessing Maester Cressen for the part and Oliver Ford Davies for the actor.
And Stannis Baratheon and Melisandre have been cast:
Melisandre will be played by Carice van Houten, a Dutch stage and film actress. She’s appeared in the movies Valkyrie and Repo Men. I think you’ll agree she looks just about perfect for Melisandre.
And Stannis will be played by British actor Stephen Dillane, best known to U.S. audiences by playing Thomas Jefferson in HBO’s John Adams.
(Both above from W-I-C)
W-I-C got the news from EW.
Game of Thrones: Liam Cunningham as Davos.
BTW, he currently plays President Tate on Outcasts.
And he was in Camelot. (Stephen Dillane was in the movie King Arthur as Merlin.)
