A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

fiona, thanks!

BTW, does anyone know if/when T:MD will be released on iTunes or Hulu? I've been looking, and I can't find any chatter.

I'd like to think I can wait long enough until it is released to them...but I honestly don't think I can wait very long. I know I WILL pay for it when it pops up there, or on Netflix...but I just don't think I can wait that long...

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So, what do you think of the writer's analysis. I kind of feel like he is blaming the downloaders for the decimation of the music industry when I feel like the music industry did damage to itself Note, I was not a big music downloader at all, but if the music industry had gotten on board earlier with licensing agreements, they might have been able to have a more profitable presence.

I am not sure what the parallels are with tv. The BBC has a different income stream than the US. HBO isn't particularly thrilled with downloads, but I'm not sure NBC cares very much.

The thing is, we're used to waiting for US shows in Britain, but waiting for a BRITISH show is something new. I think that's his main beef. And nowadays it can be really hard to avoid spoilers in that time.

As people in the comments point out, waiting six days is nothing - weeks or months is more usual. And I think the whole "will you be downloading" question is a red herring, just something to get the comments going (and it seems to have worked).

I won't be downloading, but I'm a bit sad I'll have to stay out of Boxed Set for six days, unless you all take pity on us Brits and whitefont.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You won't have to stay out of Boxed Set. You'll have to stay out of Premium Cable.

Art Crawl!!!

That's right. It's on STARZ which is extra $$$ over here and I believe they went with a 90 day delay for netflix. (Which is most annoying.)

Art Crawl!!!

MTV dreamcasting for season 2 of GoT.

Like most of it but Amy Acker is all wrong for Asha Greyjoy.

90 days? Well, bugger.

There goes my plan for being virtuous and waiting.
