But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hmmm, I like Rachel Nichols. . .

I was thinking the same thing. I'm actually mad that they hired someone I like since I don't want to like the new person. I miss JJ.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Just from that write-up, Nichols' character sounds like a Mary Sue. I can't understand the mindset of the network, to drop or cut back two popular female characters, only to replace them with another. What, were JJ and Emily such competent agents they were deemed intimidating to the menz, so they had to be replaced with a hot young inexperienced cadet? I'm even madder now than I was before.

Well, now they are trying to keep Paget Brewster for a full season next year, but she is keeping her option to do a pilot.

Can't blame her. First they tell her she isn't very valuable to them and cut her appearances, then they come back and say, oh, well, you can stay if you want. I'd exercise my other options too.

Zenkitty, I completely agree with you.

Art Crawl!!!

It's true - she has no reason to trust the people in charge.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Rachel Nichols playing a crimefighter with unique PoV because of personal crime tragedy? Lo, that's never happened before.

Art Crawl!!!

I saw a preview for CM that said that. (So, does that mean it can be talked about in the Procedurals thread?)

Yeah, if it was on TV.
