Wow. It's not really a shining season for strong, interesting female characters is it? That blows. I'm not taking it as hard as the CM news which still pisses me off. I'd really like to hear about a male lead getting the axe for a change.

CSI: Miami. But that's not as big a thing as CSI: NY or CM, at all. And replacing them with other women doesn't really put salve on the wound.

If they go with the woman they're suggesting, that's still gotta be a fair chunk of coin. But she'll not have as much responsibility.

As far as I know, she only ever starred in one other prime time show, which she was with until it was canceled.
