What ita said. I am NOT happy about this.
Ditto. I suspect the way they'll play it is JJ wanting to become a full-time mom-- they've certainly hinted at how conflicted she feels, ("Amplification" comes to mind) and then they might move Emily into JJ's capacity, which kind of gives them a natural out, since she can stay behind more easily that way. Which SUCKS because she is so tough in the field.
If they make that move I'll be even more pissed, since it makes both roles seem trivial.
I totally agree, ita. It would be monumentally stupid, because what JJ does is so integral, which they made such a point of emphasizing when Jordan was subbing for her. And Emily worked so hard to become a full-fledged member of the BAU-- now, the other scenario I could potentially see them cooking up for Emily would be sharing her with the Diplomatic Corps given her mother's background and her own facility with languages. Which might be more interesting in terms of character, but still, blows goats because I love Emily as part of the team.
You know, I had an inkling this all was going to pass. One of the actors said in an interview 6 months how lucky she felt that she was employed and working - and I thought to myself: what a generous thing to say.
And then she gets CUT.

Nice. It will be good to see Enver again in something.
I just don't understand how the producers are going to pull it off without changing the entire context and feel of the show. They need the point and counterpoint.

Love this quote:
"We hope to do for zombies what 'Mad Men' has done for advertising," director Frank Darabont said in a recent behind-the-scenes look at the series.
So there is this for those of you upset about the CM news.
