Ryan O'Neal turned up in a preview for Bones, so it looks like Max will be back for at least an episode. I'm curious if it was filmed before O'Neal's recent legal woes.

Well,the League Championships and the World Series, but yeah, essentially, baseball playoffs tend to keep bones off the schedule during October which is one reason it was one of the first shows back on the air in early Sept.
