CCH Pounder has been added to the cast of SCI FI Channel's paranormal drama pilot Warehouse 13, Variety reported.
Pounder will play Mrs. Fredric, the director of a secret government organization. She joins a cast that also includes Eddie McClintock, Saul Rubinek and Joanne Kelly, the trade paper reported.
Warehouse 13 follows a pair of FBI agents who investigate artifacts in a mysterious South Dakota facility; Pounder's character is charged with securing those threatening objects.
Katie Cassidy will be back and the character she plays will be different.

Virtuality casting - I read this earlier and wondered where I had heard the name James D'Arcy before - well he played Lt. Pullings (I believe) in Master and Commander.
Heroes casting: Francis Capra is joining the show! As a villain, no less! This should be fun.

Well, it has been a long time since I actually made an outloud noise of surprise and joy about casting news, but that first one made me do it. Although I thought she would have been perfect to play Chuck Bass' mother on Gossip Girl, so I am a little disappointed.
Well, so far as I know - it's only the one episode.
