Caprica: Casting News:
Paula Malcomson has been cast as the female lead in the highly anticipated "Caprica," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Malcomson, 37, is perhaps most recognizable as her turn as the fallen woman Trixie on "Deadwood." She also appeared as Meg Riley on "ER" and as Jerri on "John From Cincinnati."
Edited to clarify that they were there was only one person cast on Caprica mentioned in that piece.
Caprica: Casting News:
!!!!!!!!!
It's going to start out as a SciFi Classic Movie.
Although, possibly with fewer giant insects.
I'm very psyched by the Dr. Who finale info. Lightheaded, even.
The other bits of casting were for something called "Warehouse 13" - which Scifi Wire describes as "a comedic SF drama"
Jace Alexander, who helmed the pilot for USA's "Burn Notice," will direct the "Warehouse" pilot.
(Eddie) McClintock, 40, played Special Agent Tim Sullivan on "Bones" and has also appeared on "My Boys" and "Desperate Housewives."
Kelly, 27, was the abducted lady on the short-lived "Vanished" and appeared as the vampire Bianca on the Sci Fi Channel's "The Dresden Files."
OMG, that last one is so awesome as not to be believed! Love him. To little bitty pieces.
Perfect casting, sumi. Thanks!
That is pretty close to perfect.
