Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Cindy, IIRC, Sherry gave the current prez (memfault) the dirt to begin with. Palmer could have tried to kill the story or ride out the scandal, but took the high road instead (after making too many stupid decisions to count.)

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

In the new TV Guide a "what's up next" spoiler for Claire on Lost ...

The article says "Thanks to amnesia, she won't remember anything that's happened on the island."

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or just a cop-out. They already did the amnesia bit with Charlie not remembering anything that happened when he and Claire were taken by Ethan and possibly others. At least we know that Claire is still pregnant at the end of "Special" and that Ethan hasn't got her baby. I'm wondering, though, how Claire found her way back to camp. I'm assuming she was taken pretty far considering no one could find her. It's not as if there are streetlights and she was walking through the jungle in the middle of the night .

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe the amnesia is consistent.

Due to Walt's apparent ability on the island, I suppose it's possible that any contact with Ethan's group, assuming there are others on the island, would cause the crash survivors to lose some memory. Charlie couldn't remember what happened after he and Claire encountered Ethan and Claire was with Ethan longer. She might have even been dragged off to the "black rock" and who knows what kind of mystic powers that place might have - it might be the cause of her not remembering anything in her whole time on the island.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Bugger. I hate amnesia storylines. This is just a way to add dramatic tension by making her forget her blooming feelings for Charlie, I bet.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

In the case of Charlie, we can chalk it up to brain damage secondary to being briefly dead. That kind of memory loss actually makes sense, as long as it doesn't all come back to him suddenly, at a dramatic moment.

I don't know how they're going to avoid the eye-roller when dealing with Claire.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I don't know how they're going to avoid the eye-roller when dealing with Claire.

Well maybe there's a connection between Ben and Glory ?
