"24" spoiler -

Apparently a TV Guide article implies that Jack will die at the end of this season.

Something in this week's episode made me wonder about that, but I can't remember what, now. Hmmmmm. I suppose I would still turn in to watch Soul Patch, if he assumed the Jack role. I don't know if I would for anyone else.

I heard that too. I can't decide if I think it's true or not. On the one hand, they've already done the "Jack is DEAD!!!!....for about ten seconds before we resucitate him" thing once, so if he dies this season, he'll almost certainly stay that way. And I really can't see them topping this season in terms of finding new ways to make Jack's life suck.

But on the other hand, 24 without Jack Bauer would be...weird. So I don't know.

Jessica, that's a good theory. And then President Palmer will be the one that has to reach out to him, because their love is so pure. I don't even mean slash. Their love really is just so pure.

I would take a shoe over Bush as my real President, so that's not really the issue.

I'm just saying if we get Palmer, we'd better make damn sure we get Bauer too, just in case the world needs saving.

I'm actually having a problem with 24 in that they find a reason to torture someone in the name of national security every hour.

Bauer in charge of saving the world scares me more than a little.
