I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

( continues...) whose Lost role marks her first professional speaking part on film or television. "I better go watch 'The Fugitive,' for cyring out loud!"

9- Charlie likes to let his fingers do the talking . The fidgety rocker sports bandages on his four left fingers, which feature periodically changing letters. That fashion statement, along with Charlie's affinity for black nail polish, was Monaghan's idea. "He's an artist, and I thought he would write something to show his personality, "says the actor, who has been know to doodle on his own digits off scree. "We decided on 'Fate', but I like fooling around with it. Like, he must be in a bad mood today because he's written 'Hate'. He must be hungry because he's written 'Pate'. He must be in love with the leading lady because he's written 'Kate'. I have a whole list of ideas of where it's going next." Alrighty mate.

10- There may be a rhyme and reason to who survived the plane crash . Lindelof hints that destiny is a recurring theme to be found in Lost. "These peoples' lives may have inter-twined before they all got on that plane in ways that they themselves are not aware, " he says. "It gives complete purpose as to why we're telling two different stories, one that happened before the crash [through flashbacks] and one that happens after." whatever the story, we're content to stay Lost.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Thanks for these. Some of the stuff I already knew, but 1 or 2 things I didn't. I find the comic book/prop stuff very interesting.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

beathen, I think you still have a double post there.

Re this Lost TV Gude spoiler: At least one of the major characters will perish before the season finale.

Who do people think/hope it will be, and how far along in the show?

Lee,

I think more than one will perish. JJ Abrams said in a previous interview that this show would have a very high body count. That sounds to me like we will have at least 2 deaths. I expected one every 3 eps. Because of the episode thrusts, it is pretty clear that Jack and Kate will last until ep 12. Walt and Michael are good at least until then.

Lost

Le Nubian,

Do you think the body count will all or even mostly be named characters though? So far, we have had all the people on the plane who died, the pilot, the marshall, and nameless swimmer girl for a body count, and it seems to me the nameless ones might keep dying off, rather than the 10 or so named characters. If they want to keep the show going next season, they will need more than one or two characters.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Lee, I just posted over in the main thread (and oh, how good it is to be able to say that!) that the wheelchair reveal regarding Locke reminded me of when it was revealed that Angel was a vampire.

Taking that analogy a teeny bit further, and also given the fact that a BtVS/AtS alum is involved, I would so, so not be surprised to have something happen that hits the audience the way that Jenny's death hit us back in the BtVS days. Plus, given the fact that Jack wasn't supposed to survive the pilot episode, it's entirely possible that he's still going to die--it was just postponed a bit.
