So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

She's hot enough that I swear I remember a male interviewer asking Kripke if there was any chance we'd get some MILF action on the show.

But, sadly, I also remember that in the first season of X Files, there were rumors that the suits wanted Gillian Anderson replaced with someone hotter.

What is even happening?

Okay, the word hot obviously does not mean what I think it means.

Speaking of... BSG rumors say that execs are fulfilling fans' cries for gay representation on the show by putting Cain with Gina in the Razor movie, before Gina was revealed to be a cylon.

Wow, two super-hot lesbians. Who would have thought?

How about portraying some realistic gay couples, rather than either fulfilling the male fantasy of hot girl on girl action, or going with the stereotypcial butch lesbians and frou-frou gay men? Is that the only way our society will accept its gays? For someone who goes on about wanting to cast actors who will show diversity in the onscreen society, Ron sure is cramming gay society into a neat little box.

But Supernatural... seriously, they're getting rid of Ellen for that?! She was one super hot chicka. But even aside from her good looks... how about the fact that she's one PHENOMENAL ACTRESS?! God, I hate these men in production who have the audacity to call themselves feminists and then pull crap like this.

Please tell me that at least with Ellen gone, we'll be free of whiny, annoying Joe, too?

Art Crawl!!!

According to MSNBC David Ander's character on Heroes:

Anders will play the most intriguing part, that of the ancient samurai warrior Takezo Kensei, Hiro Nakamura’s (Masi Oka) childhood hero. Hiro spent most of the first season trying to get ahold of Kensei’s sword, which he hoped would help him in his quest to save the world.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I think they have their wires crossed there, as all the other reports and rumours have had him playing the character Kane.

Either that, or they know something the rest of us haven't heard yet.

Art Crawl!!!

Here's another piece saying the same thing.

Art Crawl!!!

I read that Heroes is alreadying filming because they've got so many episodes in their season (or unwritten reason: they're trying to avoid the writers' strike) - but that probably means some real hard-core spoilers should be out and about shortly.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Um, I know my eyesight is shitty, but, isn't David Anders kind of white for that role?

Also, if they make him deliver all his lines in Japanese I will laugh and laugh -- I've never heard him speak in his native accent, which I gather is something ordinary like Oregonian.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've never heard him speak in his native accent, which I gather is something ordinary like Oregonian.

I don't remember what accent he used in CSI (and wouldn't recognise Oregonian if it bit me in the ass with a reacharound map), but it was very charming.

But that all pales behind the idea of a resurgence of 'yellowface,' which I was just reading was kosher way longer than blackface ever was. I'd never thought of that.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Yeah, when you have John Wayne playing Gengis Khan, that's seriously stretching credibility for the sake of discrimination.
