Thanks for the caps site, tiggy. Yep, the guy in the chicken suit is the convenience store owner, and the guy who played Hurley's boss is the same guy who played Locke's boss.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think Convenience Store Guy is in the chicken suit because it was his "outing" of Hurley that caused everything to change, but the change really started when he quit his job at Cluckity Cluck, because that encouraged his friend to quit too. His friend didn't know that Hurley had another means of support and wasn't just taking a leap of faith into the void of joblessness, so when he realized that he and Hurley weren't really in the same situation, he felt betrayed. Which is dumb, because Hurley didn't tell him to quit, but still.

The evil is this way?

This is Locke's boss -- from the same site as the other pictures tiggy posted. Is this the same guy as the Hurley's manager at the chicken place?

Yep. I was just checking back and forth between several pictures of Locke's boss, and the good cap of Hurley's boss. They are the same guy, but it's a little hard to tell in some caps because he's clean shaven with close cropped hair as Hurley's boss, and he has a goatee and shaggy hair as Locke's boss.

It took checking a couple of different pictures to confirm it, but it's the same guy.

Serial --

I found the best two pictures for comparison were these two:

Locke's boss

Hurley's boss

ETA: Also, IMDb confirms that it was a guy named Billy Ray Gallion playing the character of Randy in both episodes ("Walkabout" and "Everybody Hates Hugo"). You have to scroll down to his Notable Guest Appearances.

The evil is this way?

If Hurley does own the box company, no small irony that Locke is now telling Hurley what to do.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

playing the character of Randy in both episodes

Ah, I wondered about this. (Whether it was a case of a recurring character, or merely a reused actor.)

Yeah, me too. Especially since he looked so different in each episode.

Of course, some old pictures of me look pretty different....

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm wondering about the hair and the two time frames....

Which came first? the chicken or the box company?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Chicken had to come first. Hurley won money at chicken stand; bought box company with money.
