Yes, this. And I even had a hard time figuring how they'd get from that first flashback to the present within the episode. But they did, and I bought it. In fact, it slayed me in the end. Love that. Love.

I think I'm in Vonnie's place re: Sawyer. Sometimes the jerks make me laugh and laugh. And he does. I can't help it.

Hmmm, so we only whitefont watch and post at Boxed Set because it isn't a dedicated thread?

ETA No WAY is acclaimed actress Kate Beckinsale (aaKB) a C cup! Her boobs are tiny and that was the world's most virginal bra (which was awesome in itself, much like the mismatched bra & panties from her big ocean-bathing scene). But it was such a great line that I totally forgive the factual inaccuracy of it.

Jack and Kate are juxtaposed over each other (far away, yet so close omg!) in half-transparency like a bad LJ icon that I will totally make as soon as I finish this recap. Man, just GET IT ON ALREADY. The End.

He tells Locke that it's been eight days and eleven hours (awww) since he's last played his guitar, and Locke assures Charlie that he will see it again, in this tone that suggests he is telekinetically finding it in the rubble and gluing it back together as we speak. Don't think he can't do it.

Loved the ep, and even kind of like Jin now, or at least sympathize with him.

The people who don't get the Sawyer pretty are wack. He was just gorgeous in the scene on the beach with Kate. Yum

I thought Shannon was one of the people at the campfire on the beach, or at least there was someone who looked like her.
