Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also to the list of mysteries: What Locke Saw/Heard/Did when he confronted Lostzilla -- which I don't think anybody but him knows he did. It may be a subset of The Island Monster, but it does pose the question, why wasn't he eaten?

I think it's very strange that Kate refers to what happened to her ex-BF as she "killing" him. And it leaves me with an asspull feeling.

Also, I think the mechasorous is the most blatantly dropped mystery on the island. In the early episodes nobody could venture six feet into a couple of trees without hearing it. Now - nothing. Eh.

Locke killed it. :-)

It's like Gunn and the panther.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Locke killed it. :-)

Or maybe it killed Locke and we now have Pod!Locke.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, as a proponent of the InvisioMechasaur of Id, I think they're less scared, so it's less of a threat.

Has anyone else been getting a really odd (and different from before) vibe from Locke in the past 2 episodes? Like he's reached IslandEnlightenment, or something?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I assumed Kate's now dead friend is the one who sent her the letter and the $$.

Except wasn't the letter what gave her the news of her mother's illness? In which case it couldn't have been the doctor, since he didn't know.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I think it's very strange that Kate refers to what happened to her ex-BF as she "killing" him. And it leaves me with an asspull feeling.

She didn't pull the trigger, but her actions directly caused his death.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

And she'd certainly feel like she killed him.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ITA. Major retcon, I thought.
