[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I had erased the Alias promo from my memory.

You're like a human TiVo! That is a handy feature. I should upgrade.

Up with the sun

The mother's room was being watched by police in hopes Badass Kate would show up. So they knew who she was.

Oh. I R Dum, sometimes -- I just thought the cop in the hallway was a coincidence. Thanks.

But given that? I think she went to the Spike School of Planning.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I assumed Kate's now dead friend is the one who sent her the letter and the $$.

I know she loved her friend, but I still don't know why she went so batshit over that plane to rob a bank for it and nearly bust Sawyer over the head for it on the island.

Kate has some obsessive compulsive shit going on. She would really be the likely candidate of "Lost" survivor who ran out of meds, but I guess they aren't going in that direction.

Our wings are not tired.

Outstanding mystery list (no doubt incomplete):

The numb3rs
The others
OMGWTF Poar Bear
Island monster
Walt's powers
Locke's island connection
The other survivors from the radio
The hatch
Voices in the wind

That's just island stuff, there are also a number of outstanding character details that will not all be resolved any time soon.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well, doctor dude is not only her first love, he also has the happy family life she never had even as a child. That's why we got to see her in his sunny kitchen looking at all the everyday family detritus and the lingering over the photos on the fridge. It's like the plane represents the "normal" stable Edenic life Kate never had and never will have.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

BTW, when Walt decided he needed to get the heck off the island after "seeing" what was in the hatch, I decided that whatever is in the hatch is some scary shit.

You'd think Locke would get a clue if Sayid and Walt - really different people - have serious reservations.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Interesting that in the promo Danielle said their choices would be to run, hide, or die when confronted by the others. Didn't she kill all the members of her own party after their supposed contamination?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also to the list of mysteries: What Locke Saw/Heard/Did when he confronted Lostzilla -- which I don't think anybody but him knows he did. It may be a subset of The Island Monster, but it does pose the question, why wasn't he eaten?

Visilurking

I think it's very strange that Kate refers to what happened to her ex-BF as she "killing" him. And it leaves me with an asspull feeling.

Also, I think the mechasorous is the most blatantly dropped mystery on the island. In the early episodes nobody could venture six feet into a couple of trees without hearing it. Now - nothing. Eh.

Locke killed it. :-)
