You guys had a riot? On account of me? A real riot?

Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I've become hypersensitive when it comes to baby issues (including not being able to watch any CSI episodes involving the deaths of babies--it just hits too close to home). So I'm really hoping Claire delivers a heathy baby--if she delivers at all on the island. If anything bad happens to the baby, I may not be able to watch the show.

Also, the dog won't get it. It'll probably be someone like Hurley.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

LN, I would have to look at the current laws, but you used to be able to, though there would have been a quarantine period once they got here. OTOH, it's possible the airline might not allow it, because of the length of the flight.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Nooooooooo! I will sacrifice Shannon's hotness if Hurley gets to live.

Art Crawl!!!

You can certainly ship dogs back and forth between the USA and Australia. I know people who have had it done.

There may be a quarantine period -- but that wouldn't happen 'til after the animal arrives.

Are cargo holds pressurized? Heated? I have a good friend that emigrated with her two dogs to Switzerland and they were crated the whole time for the flight. I think it was an 11 hour flight or something like that. An Australia-US flight might be a few hours longer, though. And there are restrictions about temperatures on the tarmac--if it's going to be extremely hot or cold at either the departure or the arrival destination, they won't take crated animals.

Even the quarantine period seems rare, unless the point of entry is Hawaii. [link]

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

It's about 14 hours from Sydney to San Francisco; I don't know if it would be significantly shorter to LA.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

JJA has said in interviews that any character could be killed. So I have steeled myself for anyone we've already met. However, if Walt gets it, I will be pretty upset. I love me some Walt.

[Kate snaps a polar bear's neck]

Kate: Did not know who he was fucking with.

That's totally going to happen.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, of the sane people on the island I'd say that Kate is the most formidable, with Sayid running a close second.

I'd still like to see that "She weighs x pounds soaking wet!" comment come back to haunt Jack. Kate took down Sawyer, a guy who probably outweighs her by 30 lbs. or more, in about half a second.
