Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

OTOH, it's possible the airline might not allow it, because of the length of the flight.

Are cargo holds pressurized? Heated? I have a good friend that emigrated with her two dogs to Switzerland and they were crated the whole time for the flight. I think it was an 11 hour flight or something like that. An Australia-US flight might be a few hours longer, though. And there are restrictions about temperatures on the tarmac--if it's going to be extremely hot or cold at either the departure or the arrival destination, they won't take crated animals.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Even the quarantine period seems rare, unless the point of entry is Hawaii. [link]

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

It's about 14 hours from Sydney to San Francisco; I don't know if it would be significantly shorter to LA.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

JJA has said in interviews that any character could be killed. So I have steeled myself for anyone we've already met. However, if Walt gets it, I will be pretty upset. I love me some Walt.

[Kate snaps a polar bear's neck]

Kate: Did not know who he was fucking with.

That's totally going to happen.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, of the sane people on the island I'd say that Kate is the most formidable, with Sayid running a close second.

I'd still like to see that "She weighs x pounds soaking wet!" comment come back to haunt Jack. Kate took down Sawyer, a guy who probably outweighs her by 30 lbs. or more, in about half a second.

Although something tells me not to fuck with Jin.

Punishingly Intricate

It's not that hard if you know how. I've taken down guys who (in protective gear) were a foot taller and twice as heavy as me (about 6'6" and 300+ pounds).

Sawyer wasn't expecting her to be able to out muscle him. Yay! Surprise!

I'm loving Kate. And hoping her crime was serious and not whitewashed.

Up with the sun

The only thing worse than that is if Claire delivers a beautiful baby and it dies. I like when the show brings on the HSQ, but that would be too much.

I could handle the dog dying; it would be sad and all, but I'm not an animal-death-squick person.

But if the baby dies? Or Walt dies? I would freak right out.

(Are there any children among the survivors other than Walt and the fetus? That seems kind of unlikely for a commercial flight, but I'll accept it.)
