Xander: Am I right, Giles? Giles: I'm almost certain you're not. Though, to be fair, I haven't been listening.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Safety Depoist box was indeed numbered 815.

I am a dork- why is this significant?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What the BF said was, that it was clearly very hot there and that all the men were often either shirtless or in wifebeaters, but that the women were often all buttoned up (Sun) or in the case of Shannon, wearing shawls and cover-y things more often than the guys. According to him many chances to have women in bikinis ir the tiny shorts and scarf-wear favored by chicks on Survivor have been passed up, tragically.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ooh! I totally missed that. (Nora, 815 was also the filght number.)

Of course, this being JJ, it was probably there just to make viewers go "OOOH!" and will never be mentioned again.

If I only had a brain...

they already established he goes commando

OH. Good point.

Although my reaction was "Come on, we've already seen his ass". Because he is so the skinny-dipping type.

If I only had a brain...

As Cleolinda pointed out, isn't it nice that even in conditions of extreme squalor, Kate has managed to keep up with her waxing?

(But not, I note, to find a hairbrush.)

Thanks! I have yet to get to my noticing every little detail phase that I had until about... Buffy Season 5 or so, because I got aggravated with them not going anywhere (Halfrek/Cecily, anyone???) So now I just absorb the big picture stuff and try not to get set up for disappointment. Though, Lost is starting to wear that down...

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yeah, my thought at the very beginning of the teaser was, "huh, Kate managed to shave her pits."

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Maybe the island likes clean shaven women, and is working its mojo on all of them?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It's a shame, because, strand me on a desert island, and I am so abandoning my painful feminine beauty practices. Not that I'm much with them now, but still. I think they're missing a liberation opportunity.

Yeah, Nora, it's interesting because I notice, because I can't not, but I still don't know the show well enough to know if I trust that the details will be borne out properly.

And yeah, Sawyer totally would have skinny dipped.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am so abandoning my painful feminine beauty practices

Hell no.

Not that I'm much with them now

Actually, good point. I don't have any ... or maybe my pain threshold's a little high.

Either way, it's not like anything I do for vanity hurts more than what I do for fun.
