Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

From my perspective, nearly every character we've seen is truly fucked up in unique ways.

yeah, but it bugs me that Jack is seen as like this paragon of leadership, is all. Though, that seems to be unraveling. yay.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm on the Jack love train too, though last night he was an impractical moron who fell into a bit of lifesaving by sheer luck.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I thought the casting of Jack's dad was perfect. There really was a family resemblance thing going on.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Skipped a bit, but will go back and read because, damn, this is good. I just feeling a burning need to tell everyone I LOVE THIS SHOW. It almost makes up for the Serenity and The Insider delays. I must say, not a bad substitute for Joss and Tim.

Now heading back to work, and thence to catch up.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Pretty much everyone at work knows that Wednesday nights are sacred. They must think I'm nuts for getting so involved in this show but I don't care.

Sekrit message to libkitty: I've finished typing eps 5,6 & 7. I know you haven't taped the episodes. Would you like me to email you the scripts I have done while we wait for them to be posted? I just want to make sure everyone can share in love of Lost. :)

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Especially given that female screams heard by Jack before his strange encounter with Ethan.

I have a feeling that the screams he heard were sort of like the sound of ice clinking in a glass that he heard when the body of his dad walked past his campfire that one night.

Nora, I'll respond to you tonight when I get home. If for some reason I forget, prompt me the next time you run across me on the boards (especially if it's tonight).

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Then again, if he hadn't, Charlie would be dead for real.

I dunno. Ethan said that they may not have hung Charlie if Jack hadn't insisted on forging ahead. We don't really have any evidence that he was lying about that.
