"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I really, really want the cave corpses to turn out to be Amelia Earhart and whats-his-name.

That would be perfect.

Maybe what Locke and Boone found in the jungle was a piece of the Flying Laboratory?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Having her there and watchign and agonizedly editorializing and shrieking made the scene that much more potent

Yeah, Kate's reaction just got to me viscerally. The helpless sobs, and the way she used her hand to wipe her eyes--it was such a child-like gesture, it broke my heart. EL was really good there.

From now on, every time she starts to stare pensively out into the ocean, someone close to her should have a near-death experience to snap her out of it.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

I was just looking back through the screen captures for the episode and I noticed that when Charlie was hanging from the branches they were not wrapped around the back of his neck. This would lead me to believe that he was knocked out before he was hung. Another contributing factor: his hands were not tied.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Maybe what Locke and Boone found in the jungle was a piece of the Flying Laboratory?

Maybe it's Voyager.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

From now on, every time she starts to stare pensively out into the ocean, someone close to her should have a near-death experience to snap her out of it.

That's the only way that the healing can begin.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I may be the only one here, but I still like Jack dammit and I'm rooting for him. He, Walt, and Hurley are the only ones I really really don't want to die.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

every time Kate would plead, "Jack...!" I would helpfully add to the end, "...Ass"

He annoyed the ever living crap out of me last night. He is so incredibly screwed up and as soon as everyone realizes that, I'll be happy.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

He is so incredibly screwed up

Oh, yes. Locke's reasoning for Jack going back to the caves was sound, and Jack was something of an idiot to insist on forging ahead. Then again, if he hadn't, Charlie would be dead for real.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

From my perspective, nearly every character we've seen is truly fucked up in unique ways. We just know more about Jack's shit.
